Mercateam

Skills management and workstation assignment for industrial teams.

Mercateam manages the skills of industrial operators and assigns them to workstations, so shop-floor managers know who can do what, plan training, and run audits without spreadsheets. The company reports saving managers a day a week and increasing operator versatility, at more than 200 industrial groups in 12 countries including Sanofi, Saint-Gobain, LVMH, SEB and Richemont.

Its founders, Kevin and Adrien, joined the OSS recruitment process in late 2019 largely for the studio's social thesis, and focused their user research on blue-collar workers from the start — around thirty factories in the first round. Mercateam was created in April 2020, raised €1.2M early on, and closed €5M in June 2024 led by Ternel.
