Parsio works on the part of a manufacturer's costs that procurement usually cannot touch: the 70–80% of direct spend that is already locked in by engineering decisions before a buyer ever negotiates a price. It acts as an AI procurement-engineering department, finding the design and specification changes that recover 3–15% of direct spend without hiring the ten to fifteen specialists that work would normally take.
It is one of the newest companies co-built at OSS Ventures, which is its founding investor.
