Cinqo

One data-driven platform for all of a factory's waste streams.

Cinqo helps industrial companies cut waste costs and complexity by bringing every waste stream onto one data-driven platform: it optimises collections, improves recycling performance and keeps ISO and ESG compliance in order, while improving the economics of the specialist recyclers on the other side.

Industrial waste sat on the OSS backlog for years — messy, opaque, fragmented, and without the right founder. That changed with Mehdi Ben Abroug, a marketplace builder trained at Rocket Internet and a former Flixbus executive. The team interviewed more than a hundred industrial sites and found an uncomfortable incentive: most of the waste industry is paid by volume, so optimisation is actively discouraged. Cinqo was founded in Paris in 2023 and raised a first round from Kima Ventures, Pareto Holdings, OSS Ventures and others.
